Liz qualified for the Knowlton Elementary Spelling Bee after winning the spelling bee in her class. She was one of 23 kids in the school competition and she did great. We were very proud of her performance. She finished 4th place in school and plans to do even better next year! She got a tough word in that last round, much tougher than some of her more fortunate competitors (chimichanga?!). It is also a word that most definitely does not describe her! ob·se·qui·ous - adj. Full of or exhibiting servile compliance.
